14 short days until I am officially a sister missionary!
I. AM. SO. EXCITED. !!!
On Monday, I got the numbers of some sets of sister missionaries from the mission president's wife here. (They're in my home ward.) So, I called the sisters and last night they called me back.
The conversation went something like this:
SMs: "Yeah, we'd love to have you come out with us!"
Me: "Yay! Okay, I can come from like 12-4ish and I can drive you around so you can save your miles."
SMs: "Sounds perfect! How about we meet you at Target at noon?"
Me: "Okay!"
SMs: "Oh, and don't freak out, but...we're Spanish sisters. "
Yes, today my adventure was attempting to understand las hermanas teach in espanol. They complimented me at the end, saying that I was really good at picking up on it! That's probably because French and Spanish are relatively similar so I was able to pick out an okay amount of words.
All in all, the day was way fun! And the best part? I'm going with them to Zone Conference next week!!!! :)
Oh heavens, I can hardly wait for these 2 weeks to go by!
