Ha well, today we have 2 hours of p-day to email and get groceries and then we are pro-pro-proselyting for the rest of the evening...because CHRISTMAS = ALL DAY P-DAY!!!!! Let's just say I am so stoked.

Good things have been happening in Lyndhurst! Man'tima and Chris are both progressing and it's AWESOME!! Let me tell you about them. So on Thursday, we taught Man'tima about the Word of Wisdom. It's going to be really hard with her but we've made a plan to help her cut back slowly. Ohhh yes, we moved her baptism back to January 28th as well.
She told us about this incredible experience that she had with the Holy Ghost too after she came to church on Sunday, and Sister Howerton told us that Man’tima told her that when she came to church, her worries were gone for 3 hours until she got out of the Howerton’s van and then they all came crashing back down on her. She’s feeling the Spirit!!!! Then on Friday, Sister Howerton brought us & Man'tima into Kirtland for a baptism!
After the baptism, Elder Bills & Elder Anderson gave Man'tima a Priesthood blessing. WOW. WOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW! The Priesthood truly is God's power. It's incredible. It mentioned things that we hadn't told the elders and it was completely what Man'tima needed to hear. Last night, she told us “when the elders laid hands on me, I felt something! Just because we can’t see that Man doesn’t mean that He’s not REAL!” and we were just like “YEAH! WE KNOW!” Ah, it was awesome! I haven’t really seen the change that happens to people as they accept and live the gospel yet…but I’m beginning to see it in her and it’s SO COOL!
The miracle of a lifetime is Sister Howerton. I LOVE HER SO MUCH and I only officially met her at the ward Christmas party on the 11th...not even two weeks ago. She truly understands what fellowshipping someone is. So on December 12th, we asked Sister Howerton to pick up Man’tima. She did. Plus went 5,000 extra miles.
Man’tima was jeans to church when she came because she doesn’t own any skirts and she was uncomfortable so Sis. Howerton bought her an outfit for church, told her to call her whenever her 3-year-old hyperactive son is making her want to drink a glass a wine (in order to keep her from drinking), went over and helped Man’tima set up for her 6-year-old’s birthday slumber party, and went through her pantry for extra food because Man’tima is tight on that right now. Sister Howerton brought her to the baptism with us, and then invited her over for dinner and FHE tonight and we’ll be there too.

Another miracle is that our fast for missionary work on the 5th is working. We are still working with Man’tima and Chris and this week we received SIX referrals. SIX!! That is like an all-time record. Well, since I’ve come on my mission anyway. It’s been awesome! Today Sister Law and I are going to make sugar cookies and then this week, we are going to focus on less-actives in the ward and stopping by them and sharing with them our testimonies of the Savior and His Atonement. It’s going to be a great week!
I love you all so so much & I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to get to talk to you on Saturday! Have a very merry Christmas and keep Christ in it!
Lovelovelove,
Sister Webb
