Hello again, and welcome to life of a sister missionary....
Transfer news fate: MY LIFE IS A DREAM!!
I am now serving in the area of Chardon!! I am companions with Sister Decker (who came out with me) and Sister Esser (who is on her 3rd transfer). Ever since I came on my mission, there have been 2 areas in the Chardon branch but...that's all changed now. The areas of Chardon (where Sis. Decker was) and West Chardon (where Sis. Esser was) have been combined. It's a little crazy but it's SO GOOD! Being in a triple-up is really fun. It's like always a social gathering which I have been lacking in the last 6 months of my mission so hoorayyyyyy. The only sort of hard thing is that Sister Decker & I are greenie-breaking Sister Esser and she's naturally an introvert sooo we tend to dominate a bit. We are working on making sure that when we teach, it's equal and that she's getting a chance to speak up and share her testimony. I LOVE my companions! They are so great and are just what I needed right now in my mission.
As for our living situation, we are in the Boynton house in Kirtland! I've always wanted to live in a house so that was WAY exciting!! It's fun. Sister McAlister and Sister Spring (the training sisters) and Sister Voievodina and Sister Wheeler also live with us. I think it's the best. :)
We are at sites alot more than I have been in the past. We are there every Thursday and every Saturday and every other Monday night (after p-day) and every other Sunday afternoon. It's random but it's good.
I really am so excited to be serving in Chardon! Before transfers, I was really really anxious and so I asked Elder Edman for a blessing. IT WAS UNREAL. Certain things were said that made me realize without a shadow of a doubt that I am supposed to be in this area right now. I KNOW that there are people prepared, who are waiting for the gospel and who are ready to accept it. We just have to find them!!!
So....our motto for the transfer: SEARCH DILIGENTLY AND SPARE NOT! For the limited time that I have left of my mission, I just want to run! I just want to talk to everyone and find everyone and share this happiness and joy WITH EVERYONE!!!! These are some of the last opportunities that I will have as a full-time missionary!
So...Friday was our first day in the area. I got to meet a few people from the branch and one of the investigators. Also, fun fact of the day: Middlefield, Ohio has the 4th largest Amish population in the WHOLE WORLD! For real!!!! Haha so I saw SEVEN buggies (like horse & buggies full of the Amish) on the road in seriously 5 minutes. My mind was blown! I've never seen anything like that before. I'll have to get a picture. The Wal-Mart apparently has a parking lot for the cars and a barn for the buggies. WHAT! So neat. What a cultural experience I am having!

| After Sodie's BAPTISM!!! :) |
Yesterday, we had a baptism! Well, when I say "we", I mostly mean Sister Decker & her last companion SisterWheeler. Sister Esser & I only taught Sodie (pronounced Saudi like Arabian-style) once but she is so amazing! The baptism turned out really well. It's so incredible to watch someone enter into that binding covenant with their loving Father. I LOVE IT! She's really excited for her confirmation on Sunday.
We really are focusing on being purpose-driven and working HARD. Sister Decker mentioned that she's had a hard time being focused recently and Sister Esser's still new so she probably is too so I'm helping both of them and myself by having us memorize scriptures like Alma 13:24:
"For behold, angels are declaring unto many at this time in CHARDON; and this is for the purpose of preparing the hearts of the children of men to receive his word at the time of his coming in his glory." :)
Seriously, I am amazed by Heavenly Father and His tender mercies. My last two transfers were HARD but I know that I grew alot. This transfer is so easy (so far)! I just feel like I have the best life in the world (because I do) and I'm so happy to be in the Lord's work. I never want this to end.
I love you all so much and I'm so grateful for your support and your love.
Sister Webb
